The Surface Duo DX team is fast and most commited team I can imagine
In my last post, I had some open questions to the Microsoft Surface Duo Team.
In less than a week, to me more exact in less den three days most of the questions got answered in a very detailed way. I want now to share all the answers from the team with you.
Q: High quality marking screenshots for apps running on the Surface Duo
Microsoft has now added a lot of device frame to the Surface Duo Figma Design Kit. With this in mind, you can use the free service to create awesome screenshots that have the correct bezel width and alignment of the hinge.
Q: Flutter and open Microsoft PR
I got a tweet from Craig Dunn (@surfaceduodev) with the following explaining and link attached.
Regarding Flutter support, the work is linked from our blog https://devblogs.microsoft.com/surface-duo/flutter-dual-screen-foldable/… It’s based on AndroidX Window Manager…a Jetpack library which means it doesn’t depend on a specific Android version. We’ll continue to post progress on the blog!
Q: Customer success stories for Duo optimized apps
My last question got not answered but this is okay. Because it is our (as developers) to make it. Let us become customer success stories a real thing for dual screen devices!
